Attention to authors who want their papers to be indexed in IEEE Xplore Digital.

You must complete the registration process (uploading camera-ready papers, filling the copyright form and paying the registration fee) until 15 September 2020.

Important update on conference format and registration fees for ASYU 2020

The Innovations in Intelligent Systems and Applications Conference (ASYU2020) which will be held this year on October 15-17, 2020, at Göztepe Campus by Marmara University with the support of Yildiz Technical University and IEEE Turkey has been decided to organize in Online format due to COVID_19 pandemic.

All papers will be presented live on the Distance Education System_UES, which is currently being used by Marmara University. Although we would very much want the conference to be held in face-to-face sessions, this has become a necessity for the health and safety of all participants. Presenting papers, even online, is very important for the continuity of the conference.

After conference is completed, conference participation ceritficates will be sent to the participants in pdf format via e-mail.

In addition, conference registration fees had been updated, too. Registration fee for all participants is 600 TL until 15 September and 700 TL for the following dates. As stated before, Max 2 papers can be presented by single registration fee.

Postponement of Acceptance/Rejection Results of Papers

Dear participants

According to the conference important dates, the review results had to be announced today. However, there were some delays in uploading the comments to the system due to the fact that we are in the summer season and most of the referees are outside their offices. As soon as the comments of some referees (who need a few days) were uploaded then results will be announced until the Thursday, August 27, 2020.

Results will be sent to the corresponding author (s) via e-mail.

Deadline Extension, 19 July 2020

Dear Colleagues,

In our previous announcement, we have said that Paper Submission Deadline for ASYU 2020 conference will not be changed once again. However, upon the intensive request from you, Paper Submission Deadline has been extended until Sunday, July 19, 2020.

Covid-19 update, online participation option

Dear Colleagues,

The Conference on Innovations and Applications in Smart Systems (ASYU 2020), whose first call was announced with a great excitement on March 9, 2020, will be held this year between 15-17 October 2020 at Marmara University Göztepe Campus.

Since we have announced the first call, there are many changes in academic life as in all areas of our lives. The health and safety of our participants is extremely important for the ASYU 2020 Organization Committee. Although the conference will take more than 5 months to date, uncertainty about the COVID-19 pandemic remains in our country and around the world. If all uncertainties disappear about the pandemic, we would like to hold the ASYU 2020 conference as face-to-face sessions as previously planned.

In case of uncertainties were continuing, we would like to share with you the information that the conference can be organized in online format in order to ensure the health and safety of the participants. The Distance Education System used by Marmara University has the infrastructure to allow 5000 users to participate at the same time. Therefore, there will be no change in the dates related to the Conference.

The Conference Proceeding with all accepted and presented papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore digital library. In addition, selected papers will be considered for publication in The International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Science , European Journal of Technique(EJT), Balkan Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, indexed by TR Index and The Journal of Cognitive Systems indexed by other Indexes. In the journal publication process, besides the reviewers’ comments, the journal editors will also be taken into consideration and, if necessary, at least 2 more referee comments will be asked.

Deadline Extension

Dear Colleagues,

First of all, thank you very much for your interest in our conference. We are grateful that you have chosen to present your valuable studies at the ASYU 2020 conference hosted by Marmara University this year. We would like to express that seeing papers submitted to the system while authors had more than months to the deadline make us to feel happy in the worries and uncertainties that we experience during the pandemic.

In May, we made an announcement with the title COVID-19 Update for the Conference on Innovations and Applications in Smart Systems (ASYU 2020), whose first call was announced with a great excitement on March 9, 2020. In case the uncertainties persist, we shared with you the information that the conference could also be organized in online format to ensure the health and safety of the participants.

Now, we would like to share with you the extension decision about the Submission Deadline. As we have already announced, there will be no change in the dates of the conference.

Meanwhile, our application for indexing of accepted and presented papers in the IEEE Xplore Digital library was submitted and process is ongoing. We would also like to remind you that selected papers will be considered for publication in the International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Science (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/jeps) indexed by TR Index.
